Sundern, November 2011: For the first time the Kenyan National Association of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs has organized an event at Fort Jesus in cooperation with Severin Sea Lodge. For the successful performance, general manager Andrew Muir received the official plaque of the Association which will be presented at the hotel entrance from now on.
Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic organisation which was founded in Paris in 1950. It is bound to the high arts of cooking (Haute Cuisine) and enhances the maintenance of gastronomic values and eating habits.
At the moment, Chaîne des Rotisseurs counts about 24.000 members in 75 countries world-wide, its National Alliances, the so-called "Bailiages" are structured into further sub-groups. Today it brings together professional and non-professional members from all over the world who share the conjoint mind of the association and like to enjoy first-class food and beverage.
After weeks of planning and organising Severin Sea Lodge could invite to an event which was enjoyed by each and every member. Amidst the unique atmosphere of Fort Jesus and accompanied by the amazing Sound & Light Show, culinary highlights and first-class service were presented.
The president of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs said in her letter of thanks: "The dinner at Fort Jesus will rank as one of the best functions we have ever hosted. "Spectacular", "fantastic", "amazing"- These were the comments I received from some of the people present. "
