Sundern, August 2011 - Both Severin Sea Lodge in Mombasa and Severin Safari Camp in Tsavo West National Park have received the Silver Award of Ecotourism Kenya.
Ecotourism Kenya promotes the sustainability of touristic companies. Its certification scheme is based on activities for environmental protection and social criteria.
It was the first time that the two companies Severin Sea Lodge and Severin Safari Camp were judged by Ecotourism Kenya. Therefore we are really proud of having received the second best award and will still aim to develop and improve our efforts for the environment as well as the encouragement of local communities.
