Sundern/Mombasa, August 2010 - After a short time of refurbishment, our Kisima Restaurant at Severin Sea Lodge presents a new look. With new floor tiles, the restaurant is friendlier and brighter. The rearmost part of the dining area has been elevated, so that our guests can enjoy the wonderful view to the Indian Ocean.

The extended buffet area is now more spacious and due to our new cooking station, food can be prepared better and faster. Severin Sea Lodge is the first hotel at the coast to use an eco-friendly system to cool food at the buffet. By using deep frozen thermal packs, it is possible to avoid unnecessary energy for cooling.

With its "Shade Netting System", Severin Sea Lodge takes an innovative route of ventilating the dining room. The old aluminum windows have been replaced by wooden frames.

This system ensures, that even during the hot summer months a cool Ocean breeze streams through the restaurant. This system was first used to perfection at our Severin Safari Camp.

For our honeymooners or celebrates, we have extended our outdoor veranda and built a VIP Rotunda. Here you can enjoy an exclusive dinner while overlooking the Indian Ocean.

We are happy to welcome our guests to our new Kisima Restaurant. You can be rest assured of the usual high quality of our food and our friendly and courteous service team!
