Sundern, August 2011: Just in time for the peak season the renovated Comfort Class rooms at Severin Sea Lodge gleam in new splendour. The rooms have been modernised and equipped to international standards. The first guests are enthused.
In the bathrooms we have stylishly combined Galana natural stone with Italian tiles. German high-quality porcelain for WC and wash hand basins, Grohe armatures and a large walk-in shower with overhead and handheld shower for a complete new feeling of wellness.
The rooms have been equipped with new security features. Digital "Domestic" safes offer enough space for laptop or photographic equipment. The installation of an "Aastra" ISDN telephone system with waking-up call, speed dial for service/reception and a digital display meets international standards. in addition the interior was considerably upgraded by LED lights at the bed and the dressing table, a stylish Swahili ceiling lamp and a fan with variable speed control. A new piece of furniture accommodates the new electronic „Dometic" mini bar (37 litres) with a SEVERIN kettle for coffee and tea. A wall fastened 42'' PANASONIC plasma TV and new exquisite anti-allergen beddings complete the luxurious paraphernalia.
Besides the nearly 100 Comfort Class bungalow rooms there will be two Junior and two Executive Suites with view of the Indian Ocean which will be completed soon. The Junior Suites offer the same equipment as the Comfort Class rooms and have a separate bedroom with walk-in closet as well as a lounge area with a sofa bed and two balconies.
The Kitani and Royal Suites with direct sea view offer a master bedroom with luxurious bathroom, double wash hand basin and bidet. Additionally there is a stylish living room with elegant furniture and separate kitchen with fridge. For the guests of our Kitani and Royal Suite we also offer a butler service.
Severin Sea Lodge is now completely reopened for our guests. Shortly we will also present our new KENBALI Wellness & Fitness area with reception, two individual massage rooms, changing room and professional training equipment from Precor.
In the course of the renovation the Safari Pool has been tiled with new mosaic tiles and equipped with two massage jets with counter current system.
