Impression Severin Safari Camp

Location

Severin Safari Camp is situated in Tsavo West, the biggest national park in Kenya. It is to be found about 250 kilometres from Mombasa and offers the possibility to experience the »BIG FIVE« (i.e. elephant, leopard, buffalo, lion and rhino).

Besides lions, buffalos, leopards and an uncountable number of species of birds this park is where the biggest population of elephants in Kenya is at home. On good days the camp offers a wonderful view of the Kilimanjaro.

It is only 10 kilometres to the Mzima Springs, the source of a lake with crocodiles and hippos. From the nearby Poacher's Lookout visitors can enjoy a magnificant view of the never-ending expanse of the national park.

There is a runway about 25 minutes driving distance away from the camp and it is easily reached for a safari from the air.

The pure romantic of a safari comes into being at the nightly campfire down at the waterhole.
