Our hotel is designed in a traditional African architectural style. The comfortable rooms offer European amenities within a local atmosphere.
The hotel comprises 190 rooms, separated into two different categories: The Karibu Class with its traditional Arabian style and the Comfort Class with originally carved Lamu furniture.
Karibu Class / Standard rooms located in the main building (20 rooms)
All rooms with twin beds, mosquito net, shower, WC, individual air-conditioning, telephone, SEVERIN hair dryer, room safe, Wireless-LAN, lounge area, balcony or terrace. Room size is 21.5 m².
Karibu Class / Standard rooms located in Bungalows (44 rooms)
Same facilities as in the main building. In addition, these rooms are equipped with a mini bar and offer king size beds. Room size is 23 m².
Comfort Class (deluxe rooms) located in bungalows (62 rooms) and main building (52 rooms)
Rooms are furnished with handmade »Lamu« style furniture. All rooms with shower, WC, some with 2 wash basins, individual air-conditioning, mosquito net, some with additional ceiling fan, telephone, mainly with LCD flat screen with satellite TV, SEVERIN hair dryer, coffee/tea making facilities, room safe, mini bar, Wireless-LAN, lounge area, balcony or terrace, fruit basket on arrival. Room size is between 23 and 32 m².
Suites
Additionally with separated living area, kitchenette, bar lounge area, satellite TV, shower/bathtub, changing room, balcony and amazing sea view. The bedroom is 22 m² and the living room is 26m².
