Our hotel is designed in a traditional African architectural style. The comfortable rooms offer European amenities within a local atmosphere.
The hotel comprises 200 rooms, separated into two different categories: The Karibu Class with its traditional Arabian style and the Comfort Class with originally carved Lamu furniture.
Karibu Class (Standard) rooms in the main building
Every room (22 m²) offers a double bed, mosquito net, shower, WC, individually controllable air conditioning, music, telephone with direct outward dialing, SEVERIN hair-dryer, safe, wireless LAN, seating corner, balcony or terrace.
Karibu Class (Standard) rooms in the bungalows
Equipped like the Karibu Class in the main building. Room size: 23 m². Additionally, the rooms offer a minibar and some of them also a kingsize bed.
Comfort Class (Superior) rooms in the bungalows
The rooms (mainly 29 m²) are furnished in hand-carves "Lamu" style. They offer a bathtub/shower, WC, some with two washbasins, individually controllable air conditioning, mosquito net, partly additional ceiling fan, music, telephone with direct outward dialing, SEVERIN hair-dryer, coffee- and tea making facilities, safe, minibar, wireless LAN, seating corner, balcony or terrace, fruit basket on arrival.
Comfort Class (Superior) rooms in the main building
The rooms (23 m²) are equipped like the Comfort Class in the bungalows and very spacious. They additionally offer a seating corner with "Lamu" furniture and a 20'' LCD flat screen as well as satellite TV. Fruit basket on arrival.
Admiral Suite
Equipped with a separate living area, kitchenette, bar, seating corner, satellite TV, shower/bathtub, dressing room, balcony and wonderful ocean view.
